A large proportion of patients with Parkinson's develop motor fluctuations and dyskinesias after some years of peroral L-dopa therapy. Device Aided Medical Therapies (DAMT) are effective management options for patients who experience failure of optimized oral therapy. Their main indications and contraindications will be covered in this course.
